Reflections Of Life is an Unincorporated Association providing fundraising, education, and resources to its members.

Photography Session Payment & Cancellation Policy:

1. There is no refund of the participation donation. This is forwarded to Gembrook Wildlife Shelter upon receipt. 

2. If you miss your photography session appointment without any prior notification, your photography session and position in the calendar will be forfeited. For cancellations within 48 hours, a reschedule fee to the photographer of $50 applies. Reschedule fees are not applicable for reasons due to sudden illness or weather, at the discretion of the photographer.

3. Contribution Fee Terms: To give you the best service possible and respect our time and yours; the contribution fee is required to be made within 24 hours of your photo shoot booking and confirmed by emailing the bank transfer receipt. Once you email your bank transfer receipt this confirms your appointment time and details regarding your appointment will be sent to you. This prompt contribution is essential to confirm your position in the calendar and to initiate the commencement of the photography session planning.

4. All participants are required to attend a Photography Session Planning Appointment prior to their photography session, either in person or via video call. Failure to attend this appointment will forfeit the position in the calendar.

5. We ask for common courtesy, respect and kindness towards the photographer who is donating their time. A commitment to the project and the time allocated to you is expected. 

Privacy Assurance:

Your privacy is a priority for Reflections Of Life.  

Your personal details are solely for internal use to maintain the integrity of our community.

Membership Pathway:

Membership starts with your contribution of $5 or more and agreeing to this Member Agreement. Your contribution will go towards helping animal welfare groups, such as local wildlife shelters and pet rescue groups. We currently work with Gembrook Wildlife Shelter and Starting Over Dog Rescue.

A General Membership also provides members with access to the complimentary education library on low-tox living and consultations.

If you wish to resign your Membership, please notify us in writing.

Upon resignation, access to all resources and community benefits will be suspended until such time as you may choose to re-join.

Waiver of Responsibility:

Reflections Of Life, its team, consultants and facilitators, and Members are not responsible for any personal decisions or actions taken by its Members. Reflections Of Life is a fundraising, education, and resource platform only. The community acts as a platform for shared growth and learning, without imposing directives on personal choices. Reflections Of Life does not give medical advice. All actions taken upon by its Members is at the Member’s discretion and individual responsibility. 

The opinions and information given by Reflections Of Life are based on personal experience and knowledge accumulated over many years and ARE NOT to be taken as advice. We only provide information/consultancy based on our personal experience.

Reflections Of Life is committed to the principle of ‘Do No Harm, Cause No Loss’, and expects the same from its members. This mutual understanding ensures that our interactions and transactions are conducted in a manner that is fair, ethical, and respectful, whilst maintain honour and integrity at all times. We aim to operate in a way that prevents harm or loss to our members, team, stakeholders or the wider community.

Payment and Cancellation Policy:
1. No Refund Policy for Photography Session / Workshops / Document Products.

2. If you miss your appointment without any prior notification there are no refunds. For cancellations, refunds are at the discretion of the founding committee members and only apply with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to your booking.

3. Contribution Fee Terms: Your contribution fee for an appointment is to sent within 24 hours of your booking and confirmed by emailing the bank transfer receipt. Once you email your transfer receipt this confirms your appointment time and details regarding your appointment will be sent to you. This prompt transfer is essential to confirm your booking or to initiate the commencement of any service, product or document provision.

Acknowledgment & Agreement:

By finalising your Membership payment, you:

  • Affirm your comprehension and acceptance of the terms, including the waiver of responsibility.
  • Agree to the terms of membership and the procedures outlined herein.
  • Recognise that your membership signifies a conscious choice to live in harmony with Reflections Of Life values.

Conclusion:

Your membership at Reflections Of Life represents a conscious choice to participate in a supportive, respectful, and confidential community. Please note that adherence to these policies ensures a smoother operation and allows us to better serve all our members. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

As a member of Reflections Of Life, I agree to the following:

To not engage in, participate in, conspire to, or undertake any action or inaction, with the intent or intention to cause any harm, loss, damage or injury to others or property; and

To at all times live, operate and conduct myself in and with honour and integrity.

For the purposes of this agreement, it is here now agreed upon by all parties involved, that a digital acknowledgment or autograph is deemed as the same as a wet ink signature or autograph.
